‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ to Premiere at Tribeca 2024 (2024)

The 2024 Tribeca Festival has just unveiled new additions to its already star-studded lineup.

IndieWire can confirm that the New York premiere of“A Quiet Place: Day One” will take place as part of the festival, which runs June 5 through 16. The film will have a special screening June 26 in partnership with Paramount Pictures in IMAX.

The festival, presented by OKX, announced the addition of 11 new feature films, including eight world premieres. Documentaries “Federer: Twelve Final Days” and “Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes,” produced by J.J. Abrams, are among the highlights, plus Dawn Porter’s “Power of the Dream.”

Hannah Einbinder’s first-ever stand-up comedy special “Hannah Einbinder: Everything Must Go” will also have its world premiere at the festival.

“At our core, we are an activist festival, united by the belief that art can inspire change,”Tribeca Co-Founder and CEO Jane Rosenthal. “We’re excited to add 11 new films to our Festival lineup, including‘Missing from Fire Trail Road’about the injustices of unsolved crimes against Indigenous women and‘Power of the Dream,’about the WNBA’s effort to fight for fair pay, plus many more films that will inform and engage audiences.”

The premiere of “A Quiet Place: Day One”will take place “on the biggest screen in New York City,” according to Tribeca Festival Director and SVP of Programming Cara Cusumano. “We can’t think of a more perfect way to close out our programming this June than with some big screen thrills and a film that celebrates the magic of the shared theatrical experience,” Cusumano said.
