Maple Cinnamon Roasted Pecans (1)

Our oven-roasted maple-glazed pecans are naturally sweetened, a tad salty and scrumptiously crunchy. With just four ingredients – pecans, pure maple syrup, cinnamon and a pinch of salt, it's a simple recipe to have up your sleeve.

Pecans are a powerhouse of nutrition, packed with healthy fats, dietary fiber and antioxidants. They are particularly high in monounsaturated fats, which can help lower bad cholesterol levels and increase good cholesterol. Pecans also contain significant amounts of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin E, vitamin A, zinc and magnesium. Not to mention that these maple cinnamon pecans are free from refined sugar and naturally sweetened with real maple syrup, making this the perfect healthy snack.

These roasted pecans are incredibly versatile and customizable to your liking! I love having these on-hand year-round, but especially in the fall to elevate my salads, add to a charcuterie board, have as a sweet snack, top a dessert or give as a homemade holiday gift.

FAQs

Are maple pecans good for you?

Absolutely! Pecans are full of healthy fats, antioxidants and fiber. Combined with the natural sweetness of maple, they're a healthier choice for a sweet treat or easy snack recipe.

Why are my candied pecans chewy?

If your pecans are chewy, they might not have been roasted long enough or the oven wasn’t hot enough.

What is the difference between roasted and toasted pecans?

Roasting usually involves higher heat and often some form of oil or fat. Toasting typically uses dry heat and is done at lower temperatures.

Do you need to refrigerate roasted pecans?

No, you can store your maple cinnamon roasted pecans in an airtight container at room temperature.

Should you wash pecans before eating?

No need to wash. The roasting process will take care of any potential residue.

Can you freeze roasted pecans?

Yes, you can! Roasted pecans freeze well for up to 3 months in a zip-top freezer bag or airtight container.
