Ingredients of Mohanthal Recipe
For Binding
- Gram flour – 2 cup (250 gms)
- Hot milk- 3 tbsp
- Ghee- 3 tbsp
For Preparing mixture
- Ghee- 180 gms
- Milk- 1/2 cup(6 tbsp)
For Sugar Syrup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Water – 1 cup
- Saffron strands – 2 pinch
- Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp

Materials
For Binding
- 2 cups Gram flour
- 3 tbsp Hot milk
- 3 tbsp Ghee
For Preparing mixture
- 180 grams Ghee
- 1/2 cup Milk
For Sugar Syrup
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups Saffron strands
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
Instructions
To make Mohanthal, first take a wide bowl and add 250 grams of gram flour.
Now, take 3 tbsp of hot milk and add 3 tbsp of ghee to it and mix well.
Now add Ghee & Milk mix in batches into gram flour and mix well.
Now, cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Now, take a bowl and place a sieve on it.
Now, sieve the gram flour mix into the bowl.
Now, place a heavy-based pan on low flame and add 3/4 cup of ghee to it and melt.
After ghee Melted, adds gram flour into the pan and mix well.
Now stir continuously and cook the mix on low, medium flame until it turned golden and aromatic for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, add 1/2 cup of milk little by little and mix well.
After the mix turns golden, turn off the flame and stir continuously for 5 minutes.
Now, keep the mix aside and let it cool.
Now, we will prepare sugar syrup, and for this, place a pan on flame and add 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water to it.
Now let it melt on medium flame and boil and prepare half string consistency syrup.
After syrup starts boiling, add two pinches of Saffron strands, 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
After sugar syrup cooked thoroughly, turn off the flame.
Now, little by little, add Hot sugar syrup into the Gram flour mixture, mix well, and stir continuously.
Now, take a plate and grease it with oil.
Now transfer prepared Mohan thal to the plate.
Now garnish it with chopped almonds, cashew and pistachio.
Now your Mohanthal is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.

Mohanthal Recipe – Step By Step
1 – To make perfect Mohanthal, first take a wide bowl and add 250 grams of gram flour.
2 – Now, take 3 tbsp of hot milk and add 3 tbsp of ghee to it and mix well.
