The only time throughout the week that you will get new treasure is when you complete a Dungeon, however players may still farm for stuff that they currently own.

When does Destiny 2’s weekly reset take place and at what time?
Every week on Tuesday at 5 o’clock UTC, the weekly reset begins (12pm CT with Daylight Saving Time). The Bungie schedule is modified to account for the UTC timezone and is subject to adjustment as Daylight Savings Time rolls around. The daily reset occurs at exactly 5pm UTC and is always different from the previous day. The vast majority of bounties are reset every day, however some activities are locked for a week at a time.
