How To Order Prescriptions

Welcome to the TractorSupplyRx.com Online prescription information.

Federal Law requires that prescription drugs be restricted to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. Before we can process your prescription medicine order, we must have a prescription from your veterinarian on file. Four convenient ways to provide us with prescription:

1- You may submit a Pet-Vet information and we'll obtain the prescription for you
2- If you have the prescription already, you may mail it to us
3- If we have a refill for you on file, place your order & we'll take care of the rest
4- Your veterinarian may Call, email, or Fax the prescription to us

Your order will be placed into on hold status, while we verify your prescription.

As soon as the prescription is received, the order will be released.
NOTE: Prescriptions are refillable, if indicated, for one year from the date on which they were written. After that time, your veterinarian will need to authorize a new prescription.

TractorSupplyRx.com endorses the American Veterinary Medical Association policy that drug therapy, when medically indicated should be initiated only by an attending veterinarian in the context of a valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship.

We are unable to accept returned prescription drugs due to federal and state laws.

How It Works

Find the product(s) you want to subscribe on TractorSupplyRx.com
Select Subscription Price and choose your frequency (i.e. 30 days, 60 days, etc.)
Add Item(s) to your cart and checkout as you normally would.

The TractorSupplyRx.com Subscribe & Save program is super friendly and flexible. You can always change the frequency, accelerate or postpone a delivery, temporarily suspend delivery, or completely cancel your shipments.

Your first order will ship immediately, and subsequent orders will be processed according to the frequency you selected.

If you choose an Express delivery method (for example Next Day Air) for your initial order, your account will be set up with that as the default delivery method for future orders. At any time after your first order ships, you can change the delivery method by logging into your TractorSupplyRx.com Account.

We can only accept credit cards for the Subscribe & Save program. No checks or money orders. Please remember to Click "Save Card" at checkout.

Other Coupons & Offers

Subscription orders will use the Regular Price at the time the Subscription is placed less the Subscription Discount. Subscription orders cannot be combined with other coupons, discounts and offers provided by TractorSupplyRx.com. Subscription orders will not use any special or discount pricing that may have been available on a prior order.

Order Notifications

For every Subscription order you will receive an email 3 days ahead of time with a list of the items scheduled to be shipped. You have until midnight EST the day before to make changes online via the My Subscription link.

Back Orders

Occasionally, an item may have a delay, and when we are aware of the delay from the vendor we will notify you immediately.

Price Changes

Please check the pricing on your pre-orders notification. Prices can change from time to time. Subscription orders will use the Regular Price at the time the Subscription is placed less the Subscription Discount. Subscription orders will not use any special or discount pricing that may have been available on a prior order.

Order Confirmation & Tracking

On the day your order is processed you will receive an email confirmation. When your order has been shipped you will receive another email with your order delivery and tracking information.

Problems Processing Your Order

If your credit card expires or decline, we will inform you via email and request your assistance in helping us fix it so that we can get your order out to you as quickly as possible.

Making Changes to Your Subscribe & Save Orders

Remember, you can change your Subscription orders at anytime by logging into your TractorSupplyRx.com account via My Subscription link.

To change the quantity of an item, simply change the number in the Quantity field. This will permanently change the quantity automatically delivered to you. If you only want this to change for one order only, you will need to change it back before the next Subscription delivery.

To modify the delivery intervals simply change from the "Frequency" column and click the Update Subscription button. This will permanently change the frequency the item(s) is automatically delivered to you.

To remove an item: Simply click X Icon found next to Total price. This item will not be delivered to you unless you add it again to Subscription.

To add an item to Subscription: Simply browse for items on TractorSupplyRx.com and select “Subscription Price” tab, choose your shipment frequency, place item in cart and continue to checkout.

Why use Simparica Trio Chewable Tablets for Dogs?

This is a multi-action pest and parasite treatment and prevention product. It effectively works to control heartworms, lone star ticks, black-legged ticks, gulf coast ticks, American dog ticks, brown dog ticks, fleas, roundworms, and hookworms.

How does Simparica Trio Chewable Tablets for Dogs work?

Sarolaner, Pyrantel, and Moxidectin are the two key ingredients in this tablet treatment for dogs. For the elimination of parasites, the macrocyclic lactone class endectocide, Moxidectin is used. When introduced to the body of the parasite, this ingredient stops chloride channel-mediated neurotransmission, which ultimately leads to an inability to create electrical nerve cell activity. Without this activity, the parasite can not hold onto the intestine, and the body will naturally flush it. On top of Moxidectin, Pyrantel pamoate is also used. A nematocide in the tetrahydropyrimidine class, this ingredient causes paralysis and death by targeting neuromuscular-blocking agents. The other ingredient, sarolaner, targets insects and acarine by inhibiting the GABA and glutamate-gated chloride channels. This action over-stimulates the nervous system, resulting in death.

What are the side effects of Simparica Trio Chewable Tablets for Dogs?

One key ingredient of Simparica Trio is sarolaner. This isoxazoline drug class has been known to cause neurological side effects, including seizures, ataxia, and tremors. Even dogs with no history of seizures have experienced seizures while taking isoxazoline drugs. Administer cautiously to dogs with a history of neurological disorders or seizures. Other potential adverse reactions include polydipsia, hyperactivity, polyuria, anorexia, lethargy, diarrhea, and vomiting.

How can I store Simparica Trio Chewable Tablets for Dogs?

Store between 59-86°F (30°C).

Overview

Use this product orally every 4 weeks. The use of this medication once monthly will ensure exposure does not cause infestation or infection. While feeding, monitor the animal to ensure the entire tablet has been consumed. If a dose is missed or late, give the dose as soon as possible and continue the monthly schedule. The typical dose is 1.2 mg sarolaner per kg, 24 moxidectin per kg, and 5 mg pyrantel per kg.

If 2.8 lbs to 5.5 lbs, give 3 mg sarolaner, .06 mg moxidectin, and 12.5 mg pyrantel
If 5.5 to 11 lbs, give 6 mg sarolaner, .12 mg moxidectin, and 25 mg pyrantel
If 11 lbs to 22 lbs, give 12 mg sarolaner, .24 mg moxidectin, and 50 mg pyrantel
If 22 lbs to 44 lbs, give 24 mg sarolaner, .48 mg moxidectin, and 100 mg pyrantel
If 44lbs to 88 lbs, give 48 mg sarolaner, .96 mg moxidectin, and 200 mg pyrantel
