How to Find Myrtle Avenue
Myrtle Avenue serves as a traditional "Main Street" for the neighborhoods of Fort Greene, Clinton Hill and Wallabout, all located just east of Downtown Brooklyn and south of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Business Improvement District (BID) extends from Flatbush Extension to Classon Avenue.
By Subway
Take the G-Train to Fulton Street, Clinton-Washington Avenues or Classon Avenue
- Exit any of these three stations, at any exit, and walk north three blocks to Myrtle Avenue.
Take the B, Q or R Trains to DeKalb Avenue
- Exit the DeKalb Avenue station and walk north two blocks to Myrtle Avenue.
Take the A, C, F or R Trains to Jay Street-MetroTech
- Exit the station directly onto Myrtle Avenue and walk east towards Flatbush Avenue. Or take a Ridgewood-bound B54 bus directly outside the subway station at the corner of Jay Street and Myrtle Avenue.
By Bus
TheB54bus operates along the entire length of Myrtle Avenue from Downtown Brooklyn to Ridgewood, Queens. Connect to the bus from the subway stations at the Jay Street-Metrotech (A, C, F & R).
TheB69bus along Vanderbilt Avenue and theB48 along Classon & Franklin Avenues provide north-south bus service.
TheB38,B62and57provide additional east-west bus service nearby on DeKalb, Lafayette, Park and Flushing Avenues.

Designated bike lines run along portions of Myrtle Avenue and many of the surrounding streets and avenues. Additionally, dozens of CitiBike stations are located along Myrtle Avenue and throughout the surrounding neighborhood.
